Lloyd Irvin Jr"
Lloyd is our head Mixed Martial Arts Instructor at our MMA School. When he first opened his doors, his school was dedicated to MMA training. Below is a video of Lloyd Irvin Jr. fighting in a mixed martial arts event in 1997.
Mike "The Hulk" Easton
Mike approached Lloyd in the Cluck U Chicken in Clinton Maryland and told him "I want to be a MMA World Champion", at the time Lloyd just listened and gave his schools information to this young man. Mike showed up at Lloyd Irvin's Academy, signed up and joined Team Lloyd Irvin's Combat Athlete Program and the rest is history.
Mike started training hard in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Lloyd's MMA system. Eventually Mike started competing in grappling tournaments as a white belt and competing in Muay Thai events. Mike had his very first mma fight after only 6 months of training winning in impressive fashion.
Fast forward a few years later, Mike has won numerous grappling championships, mixed martial arts fights and on February 21, 2009 Mikes dreams became a reality as he became a Mixed Martial Arts World Champion by winning the UWC's Bantam weight World Championships.
Mike is just another one of the expert Mixed Martial Arts Instructors at Team Lloyd Irvin's Mixed Martial Arts Academy, near Clinton Maryland.
Justin Jones
Justin started training at Lloyd Irvin's Mixed Martial Arts Academy at the tender age of 15 years old. When Justin first started he was only interested in Muay Thai and then eventually got hooked on Gracie Jiu Jitsu. Being well rounded in both grappling and striking techniques, Justin was constantly a sparring partner for the lightweight mixed martial arts fighters. Then Justin made the decision that he wanted to start fighting in mma events. As an amateur Justin began his mma career 5-0.
Justin is not only one of the Mixed Martial Arts Instructors at our Maryland location, but he also teaching the kids mma program. Justin is just another one of the expert Mixed Martial Arts Instructors at Team Lloyd Irvin's Mixed Martial Arts Academy, near Andrews Air Force Base Maryland.
Jose "The Pistol" Villirisco
Kru Jose is the Pride of Team Lloyd Irvin, he is one of our most well rounded students and instructors.
Kru Jose, is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a World Class Muay Thai striker and is extremely versed at putting it all together when it comes to mma. All you have to do is come into our Maryland MMA school and ask any of the students about our instructors. As soon as you mention Kru Jose, a smile will come to their face because he gives everything to his students.
